Faculty and trainees in MBM belong to multiple departments and campus units at the University of Illinois. Our trainees broaden their education beyond the scope of their major to encompass the other field that connect to brain science. As a result, eight different disciplines braid together to form a richer and more cohesive study of miniature brain machinery:
