Alison Bell, Getz Professional Scholar and Professor of Evolution, Ecology and Behavior, will lecture on “The evolution of behavior in sticklebacks.” Shannon Berneche, MBM trainee and PhD student in Neuroscience, will give an introduction.

Bio:
Alison Bell is a Professor of Evolution, Ecology, and Behavior; an Affiliate of Institute for Genomic Biology; and a member of the Neuroscience Program at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. She earned her PhD in Population Biology from the University of California, Davis. She earned her BA in History, Philosophy & Social Studies of Science & Medicine from the University of Chicago. She was also an AAUW Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of California, Davis and an NSF Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Glasgow.
