Jonathan Sweedler wins CASSS Award

Jonathan SweedlerMBM Faculty Jonathan Sweedler has been selected to receive the 2019 CASSS Award in December. The Award is presented for Outstanding Achievements in Separation Science by the CASSS professional academic society.

Sweedler was selected because of his contributions to capillary electrophoresis, detection methods for CE, and applications of CE, especially to single-cell analysis. These contributions have advanced neuroscience in neuropeptide processing and the role of D-amino acids, among other areas, at the single neuron level.
